Welcome

Dear Friends,

The past several months have created major problems for school districts throughout the United States including our beloved Pana Community School District # 8.  Having recently retired from the Pana District after 44 years, I can honestly tell you how important it is for each of us to “step up” and become involved in maintaining the excellent educational process that was established in this district in the early years.  We can provide assistance in various forms including financial and/or volunteer services to the district.

How do we do this?  Providing assistance via The Pana Education Foundation (which became active during Dr. David Lett’s tenure as Superintendent of the district) is an excellent means to help the educational process for Pana Unit # 8.

The PEF website is available now. This website will provide an excellent means by which we can each stay informed of programs, projects, and processes that will be available for us to become involved.  If you so choose, monetary donations may be made or one can certainly donate time to various programs that are ongoing.

Pana has been and still is a preferred place to live, work, and rear a family.  Even though my personal educational process took place elsewhere, I have publicly stated that IF I were to choose a place in which to grow up and go to school, it would be in Pana.

Thank you in advance for whatever means you may have of helping secure the cause of education for the children of Pana.

Sincerely,

Carol Schramm (always proud to be a Pananite)

Hello Fellow Alumni!

By now, you’ve heard the news!  There is something big happening for Pana High School graduates…and you can be a part of it all!

The new panaeducationalfoundation.com website has launched!  This interactive website is an awesome tool to not only reconnect with fellow PHS alum, but also a great way to give you a bird’s eye view of the happenings in the Pana School District—with teachers, students, and community.  You will see videos of student activities and events, as well as have the opportunity to purchase keepsake items never before available!  Reminisce with friends and family; look at the projects and scholarships that are made possible through the Educational Foundation funds; and have a voice in what you would like to see on the site.

I can’t wait to see the PHS graduates sharing stories, thoughts, ideas, and time through this exclusive website built just for us—proud Pana  graduates!

See you on the web!
